ABOUT ME:
Do you find yourself constantly overexplaining, apologizing, or trying to ‘prove’ your intentions in a relationship? Have you begun to wonder whether your anxiety is actually a response to a relationship that leaves you feeling emotionally unsafe?
I offer bilingual virtual therapy to individual adults (18 and older) residing in the state of NJ. I am trauma and antagonistic relationship informed and am skilled with working with challenges such as anxiety, new life transitions, grief, trauma, narcissistic abuse survivors and antagonistic relational stress.
As a member of the Latinx Practice Collective and Latino Mental Health Association of NJ, I provide culturally competent, compassionate ,supportive care and committment to those I work with. My approach includes building a safe and trusting relationship without judgement. I believe in the power of connection and self-reflection and working collaboratively to help you move toward healing and growth.
I'll be happy to chat to see if we're a good fit. Feel free to reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation.
My integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities:
- Somatic Therapy, to help you connect with your body and nervous system for deeper emotional regulation.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- To help you challenge and reframe unhelpful thought patterns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)- To build emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal skills.
- Family Systems- To understand and unravel family members' roles within the system and exploring dysfunctional patterns that keep individuals stuck.
- Mindfulness-Based Strategies- To promote grounding, present-moment awareness and practical coping tools.
- Narcissistic Abuse/Antagonisitic Relational Stress Trained and Informed- To understand relational patterns such as manipulation, hypervigilence, undermining and the impact on the nervous system.
